أحلَّ الكفر بالإسلام ضيماً ……… يطول به على الدين النحيبُ
فحقٌّ ضائع وحمى مُباح ……… وسيف قاطع ودم صبيبُ
وكم من مسلم أمسى سليباً ……… ومسلمة لها حرم سليبُ
وكم من مسجد جعلوه ديراً ……… على محرابه نُصب الصليبُ
أمور لو تأمَّلهنَّ طفل ……… لثارَ في مفارقه المشيب
أتُسبى المسلمات بكلِّ ثغرٍ ……… وعيش المسلمين إذاً يطيب
أما لله والإسلام حق ……… يدافع عنه شُبانٌ وشيبُ؟
فقل لذوي البصائر حيثُ كانوا ……… أجيبوا الله ويحكمو 
أجيبوا

What injustice Kufr has inflicted upon Islam
That has brought on great lamentation for the religion.

A right lost, a sanctuary violated,
A piercing sword, flowing blood.

How many a Muslim has been looted,
And how many a Muslimah her sanctity defiled,

How many a Masjid has been made a monastery,
A crucifix erected upon its mihrab?

Such events, were a child to reflect,
They would turn white his hair.

How can Muslim women be enslaved at every frontier,
While Muslims yet live in comfort?

Does not Allah or Islam have a right
That young and old must rise to defend?

Say to the men of understanding wherever they may be,
“Respond to Allah’s call, woe to you, respond!”
